Dear Friends,
We often think of bravery as a grand gesture — a heroic feat in a moment of crisis. But at the CCW, we believe there is a different kind of courage that changes the world every single day: the courage to be kind.
In a world that can sometimes feel fast-paced and indifferent, choosing to care is a radical act. We are thrilled to invite you to join our "Be Brave, Be Kind" Campaign, a three-week journey dedicated to intentional compassion and community connection.
Our goal is simple yet profound : to build a world where care transcends boundaries. Whether it is language, race, religion, or nationality, kindness is the universal language that connects us all. By participating, you aren’t just completing a journal; you are helping to weave a stronger social fabric for everyone.
Over the next 21 days (or more), we invite you to use this journal to document your journey. Each entry will help you track :
The Act - What did you do to brighten someone’s day?
The Recipient - Who was the focus of your kindness?
The Ripple Effect - How did those around you respond? What was the energy of the witnesses or recipients?
Personal Reflection - How did the act change your internal state? What did you learn about yourself?
Psychology suggests it takes time to build a new habit of mind. By consciously looking for opportunities to be kind for three weeks, you will begin to see the world through a lens of empathy, noticing needs — and strengths — in others that you might have previously overlooked.
This journal is not just a record of the past; it is a blueprint for your future. At the end of the campaign, we hope you carry this spirit forward, proving that when we are brave enough to be kind, we create a world where everyone belongs.
Thank you for your heart, your time, and your courage. Let’s make kindness the norm, not the exception.
