Cork, harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, is a renewable, biodegradable, and eco-friendly resource that regenerates without harming the tree. Participants will not only acquire practical bookbinding skills but also explore how journaling can be a great practice to enhance mental well-being. “Friends Experiencing Life Together” (F.E.L.T.) Introduction Workshop provides the space to learn about how friendships are forged and the process of developing and sustaining friendships. It allows us to reflect upon our experiences and journey with friendships, and how we might be able to navigate some of the complexities, such as conflicts and ghosting, etc.

Participants will visit an animal shelter for an interactive field trip, where they will observe and learn about animal care and welfare in a real-world setting (with some case studies!). Through guided exploration, they will gain insight into the daily operations of an animal shelter and the needs of various animals.

This interactive session teaches participants how to grow their own herbs, microgreens, and small plants in urban settings. You will have the experience of setting up Smart Microgreen Towers for small-space gardening and learn sustainable planting techniques, including composting and soil health.
